FAQ

Concrete questions

Who is responsible for sidewalk repair in New Jersey?+
In many NJ towns the adjacent property owner is responsible for maintaining the sidewalk, but local ordinances differ. Check your town's ordinance or the notice you received. We can work from the town's specification. (General information, not legal advice.)
Do you work as a subcontractor on public projects?+
Yes. General contractors can invite us to bid on the concrete portion, such as sidewalks, curbs and curb ramps.
How soon can I drive on a new concrete driveway?+
Usually not for about a week, depending on the mix and the weather. We will give you a date for your project.
Concrete or pavers for a patio?+
Both work well. Poured concrete is one continuous surface; pavers can be lifted and reset. We can explain the trade-offs for your yard.
Do you work from engineered drawings?+
Yes. Footings and foundations are built to the approved drawings and the permit.
